Time had elapsed; the evening was coming to a close. There was no definitive way of telling how we got here or why. All we collectively knew was that we needed to carry on, do what we do, strive for better days and a brighter tomorrow.
From across the ancient grounds of Palatino, the Colosseum can be seen from many an angle.
