Jess Smith is a photographer and documentarian living in New Haven, CT. This photoblog was created to keep a record of her travels as well as capture the quotidian and fleeting. She finds the most pleasure in meeting new people, discovering new and interesting places, swimming in pretty waters, eating delicious food, tasting only the finest beverages, keeping her mind stimulated and talking in the third person.

Jess is currently working as Chief of Photography and Multimedia at a weekly, hyper-local New England publication, establishing a strong new media presence in both print and web. Jess was previously employed as an Assistant Art Director at an advertising agency while freelancing for the same local New England publication and is a part-time dreamer with a side of awesome.
