In effort to increase exercise in today’s children, a local East Haven school sports a program called KiDSMARATHON, whereas students from all grades run one mile after school 25 times a year. The final event will span one mile and 385 yards completing the marathon.
In all honesty, I believe the kids just like the idea that they can run through a sprinkler on hot Summer-esque day.

It’s really a great idea, Jess, and the kids love it. My 9-year-old grandson is part of a Boosterthon every year to raise money for school. I would always go to take pictures of him, loving all the running activities they had. Your picture brings back so many memories!
Excellent photograph , Yours sincerely.
Great little picture Jess….and I really love the disembodied leg in the corner.
perfect timing and lovely shot
Nice to see exercise encouraged and a great program…and I’m sure the sprinklers inspire! Excellent action shots to illustrate!
run forrest run!! [ u manage to freeze the movement very well! ]
I like that. It’s interesting how they sort of have to show kids how to just get outside and move around nowadays. I’m only 29 and kids are really different now than when I was a kid. Nice shot!
